Director Orkhan Aghazadeh sits down with Klassiki editorial director Sam Goff to discuss his meta-cinematic docufiction The Return of the Projectionist, screening on Klassiki from 29 May – 26 June. Aghazadeh explains how he chanced upon his protagonists in the remote Talysh region of Azerbaijan, the history of cinema culture in the Soviet era, and his contribution to the canon of films about filmmaking.
