goEast Film Festival 2026: 23 April – 21 May
Klassiki is proud to partner once again with the goEast Film Festival, an annual celebration of Central and Eastern European film in Wiesbaden, Germany. From 23 April to 21 May, stream a selection of features and shorts from the festival programme.
Kyrygyz master Aktan Arym Kubat returns with Black Red Yellow, a poetic meditation on carpet weaving and lost romance. Emerging Czech director Vojtěch Strakatý captures the hazy indecision and painful pulls of adolescence in his dreamlike teen drama The Other Side of Summer. Vera Shysh’s stop motion short The Care Package captures the brutality and tenderness of life for political prisoners in Belarus. Levan Tskhovrebadze and Ani Kiladze’s Fragments on Resistance builds a portrait of protest movements in Georgia and Serbia out of messages sent between distant friends.
