Michał Toczek’s charming Polish short weaves warm-hearted romance out of the lonely tedium of gig work and big-budget filmmaking. Downtrodden Filip (Sebastian Stankiewicz) is a professional film extra who specialises in playing dead bodies. On the set of a period drama, he is paired with newcomer Łucja (Marta Ścisłowicz). As these two background players perform the role of a deceased husband and wife, they begin to forge an unlikely connection. A gently intelligent take on the nature of performance that asks: who decides which stories are worth telling?
